SOSUNS could not offer the wonderful venues and volume of sports that we do without the support we receive from the local community. Schools, small businesses and churches all help us by providing high quality venues for the running of our sports.
Special Olympic’s Mel Inspires at the Rock
Mel is a very determined SOSUNS athlete who loves a challenge! While most people like to spend Easter Sunday eating chocolate eggs and hot cross buns, Mel has, for the past two years, swum in the Rock to Rock, a 1.5 kilometre ocean swim at Elizabeth Beach in Forster. Read more
Swimming - Learn to Swim Program

Here you will find days, times, location and contact details for the SOSUNS Learn to Swim Program.
Special Olympics learn to swim lessons run for 30 minutes. Depending on the individual athlete, these lessons may be one on one with the coach or shared with one other athlete. When swimmers progress they are placed in mini squads of 3 swimmers.
Although all of our learn to swim programs are currently full it is important that you register your interest so demand for new programs can be assessed.
