Turnaround Management Australia has proudly supported the TMA Special Olympics Sportsman’s Lunch for the past three years. Lunches are now held annually in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney and have raised in excess of $300,000 for Special Olympics’ programs around Australia.

The 2008 Special Olympics annual TMA Golf Day, held in November was a fantastic success. The SOSUNS golfers, Luke, Tom, Nathaniel and Harry practised for weeks in preparation for the big event.

Athletes excel at softball carnival

On Sunday 2nd November Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore went into softball battle against Northern Region.
Judy Hopwood opened the day which included an athlete marchpast, reading of the athlete’s oath, lighting the flame and singing the national anthem.
A fantastic day was had by all!
Skills required for softball are base running, fielding and throwing.
