Golf Day 2009

The 2008 Special Olympics annual TMA Golf Day, held in November was a fantastic success. The SOSUNS golfers, Luke, Tom, Nathaniel and Harry practised for weeks in preparation for the big event.
The day began with a delicious barbecue preparing everybody for the stamina required to play for all those great novelty and hole prizes. The SOSUNS golfers were teamed with sponsors and together they had a great time with lots of laughts and high fives all round.
After a tough 18 holes all golfers were treated to dinner, drinks and guest speakers including Steve Robilliard. Fundraising on the day included raffle prizes, the novelty prizes and a live auction. Thank you to our sponsers including Fox Sports, Australian Chocolates and Colin Scotts for providing us with these prizes.
