A Shining Success - Special Olympics Annual Gala Dinner

The Special Olympics annual gala dinner on August 29th 2008 was held at the Parkside Ballroom, at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour. It was a fabulous evening and a huge success.
SOSUNS dancers, rehearsed and performed for weeks before the big event and were absolutely fantastic on the night. The enthusiasm, the talent, the energy!
It was an evening to pay tribute to all our wonderful athletes and celebrate their achievements. And to thank and recognise the outstanding efforts made by our amazing volunteers. It was also the night to thank our generous sponsors who also make what we do possible.
The Barker College Big Band were fabulous and performed with special guest artists including Gina Jeffries, Tim Campbell and John Foreman.
The stars were truly shining throughout the night, on and off the stage.
A very special thank you to our fundraising committee. We look forward to another stellar Gala Event next year.
