SOSUN Athletes Inspire Public Support

The fantastic Karen Bender organised a group of athletes to raise money at Chatswood Westfield on the weekend. The athletes did a fantastic job inspiring the public to donate over $2000 towards the cost of sending our selected athletes to the National Games next year.
Well done Ashley, Shane, Andrew, Shaun, Michael and Michael’s mum Anthea. You are all truly inspirational. Your teammates all appreciate the time you took out of your weekend to raise money for the team. Thank you also to your parents who helped by getting you to Chatswood. Finally the biggest thank you must go to Karen without whom this would never have happened. Your vision and hard work is very much appreciated!!!
Watch out all you athletes, I was so i8nspired by how well we did that I will be targeting Hornsby, St Ives, Macqauarie Centre and Castle Towers in the New Year, so will need your invaluable help once again.
