First in the 25 Metre Freestyle!

Among National Youth Athletes from Upper North Shore was Kate Simmons.

With years of suffering chronic ear infections Kates lack of swimming didn’t stop her.

She was determined to compete and swim in the Games and was aptly rewarded with numerous medals.
