SOSUNS Athletes are Champions

Nathaniel and Thomas recently competed at the Special Olympics State Athletics Championships held at Sylvania Waters Athletics Field.  Both athletes had a fantastic day enjoying not only their events but also the opening cermony including the lighting of the cauldron and the athlete marchpast. 

 

 

   

Results from the day are:

  Nathaniel - 100 metres   Gold  

                     - 200 metres   Gold  

                     -  Long Jump  Gold      

                     -  400 metres   Silver   

                     -  4×100 metre  relay   Silver  

  

Thomas   - 50 metres  Gold           

               - 100 metres   Gold  

               -  200 metres  4th place      

               -  400 metres   4th place
